PRIVACY

Metropolitan Cigars respects the privacy of its customers and those persons receiving gifts. We will never share your address, financial information, or email with anyone. All information is strictly used to process orders and for promotional usage if you choose to be notified. If you would like to be removed from our mailing list at any time, please email us. SECURITY

Metropolitan Cigars protects all customers ordering. Your credit card numbers are not stored on our server. We use a highly reputable secure server through Verisign that has several security certificates, encryptions and blockers in place to make your shopping experience a pleasant one.

CHILDREN

Metropolitan Cigars will never sell tobacco products or tobacco related products to a minor. Buy purchasing online, the purchaser must include their date of birth. By doing so, the purchaser is swearing that they are of legal age and hold Metropolitan Cigars harmless.

SALES TAX

All orders shipped to Florida addresses will be charged a 7% sales tax. Sales tax will not be charged on shipments going outside of Florida unless the billing address of the credit card holder is in Florida.

PAYMENTS

We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. We do not offer COD (Cash On Delivery).

SHIPPING

We charge the following rates on all Ground Shipments (Subject to change without notification):

1 standard size item ordered $7.00
Add $3.00 for additional items.
Larger size humidors will incur an extra $3.00 per pound.
2nd Day Air $12.50
Next Day Air Savor $20.50

FREE Shipping and Handling promotions are only valid on ground shipments within the continental U.S.
Hawaii and Alaska will require 2nd day air service at all times. Any customers wanting rush delivery must pay additional charges for any packages requested to be shipped via Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air. We are not able to ship to P.O. Boxes. We DO ship to APO/FPO addresses.
All merchandise leaves our store in perfect condition. Should any item arrive damaged, or delayed in transit, please call us immediately at 1-800-607-3304. The outer package must be saved for UPS verification, otherwise we can not guarantee that UPS will reimburse us for the damages.
Due to FAA regulations, orders containing lighters CAN NOT be shipped by Air. All lighters will be shipped by Ground Transportation ONLY. If you need another item shipped via Express Delivery or Air Delivery, we will ship lighters separately via Ground Transport at the standard Ground Shipment cost. Lighters CAN NOT be shipped anywhere that standard ground transportation is not available.
Due to State Tobacco legislation, Metropolitan Cigars can not ship tobacco products to MAINE.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE AFTER I HAVE PLACED AN ORDER?

Orders are processed during our business hours and shipped by 2:00 PM (EST) on week days. Orders received after 2:00 PM (EST) will be shipped the following business day. We do not process orders on Sundays or Holidays.

Order Changes Once an online order has been submitted, it cannot be changed online. We can however, change or modify an order if we have not processed it yet. We work quickly, so please contact us immediately at 1-800-607-3304 if you require further assistance.

APPROXIMATE DELIVERY TIME FOR GROUND SHIPMENTS

(Business days in transit from Tampa, FL)

ORDER CONFIRMATION

You will immediately receive an email confirming your online order. This confirmation will list all the items ordered, the amount of your order and the billing and shipping address. You will not receive any further confirmations. If you require a UPS tracking number, please call or email us at orders@metropolitancigars.com and we will gladly provide it to you.

CREDIT CARD POLICIES

We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. We utilize AVS (address verification service) on all orders received and verify both the billing address and zip code. If either the address or the zip code does not match, we will attempt to verify the correct address and zip code. If we do not receive a response in a timely fashion, we reserve the right to cancel the order without further notice as a protection to ourselves and our security system in place.

RETURNS/EXCHANGES/DAMAGES

Metropolitan Cigars guarantees your complete satisfaction on every product we sell. Should you find that something is not to your satisfaction, we ask that you call us immediately at 1-800-607-3304 or 813-248-3304 and we will make the proper arrangements to satisfy you. If you need to return an item, please send INSURED via FedEx, UPS or parcel post to Metropolitan Cigars, 2014 E. 7th Avenue, Tampa, FL 33605. We will promptly arrange for its replacement.

LEGAL

Under no circumstances will we sell tobacco products to anyone under the age of 18. A legal adult, age 18 or older, must sign for all deliveries. We reserve the right to request a valid driver's license or equivalent ID before delivery is made.

Metropolitan Cigars makes no representations whatsoever about any other web site, links to other web pages, neither endorses or accepts any responsibility for the content, or the use of such web site. Metropolitan Cigars is not responsible for any typos, misprints or transposed number within this web site, our marketing materials, either printed or online, or that of which is found on our shopping cart program. We make every effort to make sure our information is accurate, but we do not guarantee any such accuracy.

Metropolitan Cigars reserves all rights to any and all language and images used within this site. If pictures or product descriptions came from an outside source, manufacturer or retailer, credit has been given on our Credit page.

We reserve the right to limit quantities of any items offered on this site. Also, all brands associated with Metropolitan Cigars are the property of its registered trademark owners.
