 Introduced in 1998 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of CAO, the CAO L'Anniversaire Maduro has quickly become one of the most sought-after premium cigars on the market today.  Only rare, Vintage 1999 harvest Connecticut Broadleaf is used for wrapper.  It is fermented under intense heat and sensitive supervision for 90 days until it releases its full potential - a rich, dark, wrapper with a razor thin carbon ring.  This outstanding wrapper encircles an Ecuadorian binder and Nicaraguan/Dominican fillers.  It is a box-pressed cigar that produces flavors of cedar, coffee, and black pepper, with a luxurious finish.
